This year has been a big one
My song of the year is “Don’t Say Oh Well” by Grouplove. Their first EP was the soundtrack to my summer. Sitting in the car, going up and down the coast, with your insides inflating that way certain songs can make you feel when you realize they are you. And that therefore, your life is like the songs people write after big things have happened to them. My big thing was turning 23...

I have done nothing productive today.
This master’s thesis is only making me nervous. Being nervous makes it hard to concentrate. Not being able to concentrate makes me feel bad about myself. Feeling bad about myself only makes me more nervous. And that’s when thoughts of “What am I even doing with my life?” come in.
Something’s gotta give.

I might be moving out of my parents. Again....
Hopefully I’ll know by next week. Then I could move in February. It’s a student flat, so it’s expensive for the small size, but it’s in the city center, looks amazing and has really nice laundry rooms.
